WHAT WE DO
Family Resource Center of Ahoskie provides:
- A compassionate and confidential setting in which an Advocate offers free pregnancy testing kits (self-administered), accurate written information on prenatal development, abortion procedures and risks, and support about pregnancy options.
- Training for women and men in prenatal development and care, birth preparation, child development, parenting, and spiritual growth. FREE family supplies through our family training program.
- Ministry and support to those suffering emotionally or spiritually from a previous abortion or miscarriage.
- Information and support designed to provide accurate information about sexually transmitted diseases and contraception failure rates, and to enable teens and single adults to a practical way to adopt a positive lifestyle.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Family Resource Center of Ahoskie mission is to reduce the number of local abortions and to be the training branch of the Ahoskie Christian Center Ministries providing spiritual, social, and financial training for local families desiring to grow.
PURPOSE
The Family Resource Center of Ahoskie is to bring help and hope to those faced with an unplanned pregnancy; to promote sexual abstinence as a positive lifestyle for singles; to provide opportunity for healing and restoration to those who have been hurt by abortion; to serve as an educating resource for the community; and to present Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
