Free Pregnancy Testing Kits

Make an appointment to verify your pregnancy with a free on-site pregnancy testing kit at Family Resource Center of Ahoskie. Our urine-based pregnancy tests are among the most sensitive urine-based tests on the market. Our tests are able to detect the hCG protein hormone (the hormone produced during pregnancy) earlier than most tests. However, only a licensed physician can diagnose pregnancy*.

I’ve Already Taken A Home Test

The free pregnancy testing kits at Family Resource Center of Ahoskie may provide more accurate results than the home test you have already taken. Our on-site pregnancy testing kits are among the most sensitive urine-based tests on the market. Even after taking a pregnancy test here at Family Resource Center of Ahoskie, it is still recommended you see a licensed physician. Family Resource Center of Ahoskie is not a medical facility.  Only a licensed physician can diagnose pregnancy.

How Far Along Am I?

If you’re concerned about being pregnant or considering abortion, it’s important to know how far along you are. Ovulation usually occurs in the middle of a 28 day cycle – or about 14 days after the first day of your last period. However, ovulation can vary, especially if you have irregular periods. An ultrasound can provide factual information to help date your pregnancy.

Pregnancy Symptoms

If you’re sexually active, it’s possible to become pregnant even if you’re using contraception. Here are some common pregnancy symptoms, but please be aware that there are other medical conditions that can cause these same symptoms. If you have been sexually active and are experiencing any of these symptoms, it’s important to get an accurate pregnancy test and talk to someone about your concerns.
